Horde captured the Cove and are reeling from the explosive trap set up along the pass, making it impassable for the time being; The next target being the Keep Wall via a secret mountain passage - Were on for tomorrow evening @ 20:00
(22nd, Sunday)

I'll be leading the Horde forces and am the port of call for the Alliance raid leader, whom ever that may be.

(You can add my B-Tag by checking in my signature)

Numbers are as of yet unknown, but we will aim to balance that on the night.
See you soon!

((EDIT**))

House Yore commit to events such as these as a "House Campaign" lasting from the Friday to the Sunday
Three consecutive days, the reason for this is that any more would be to much and cause whatever we commited the campaign to to go stale.

ICly it's simply all the time we can commit because of supply limitations.

That said Sunday will be our last day on this event until the following Friday (Depending on the situation after tommorow)

And if we re-commit to another 3 day Campaign it will be the same procedure. Friday - Sunday

Also, thank you to Dregdo for these screenshots, take a gander if you are curious to see some of what's been going on

Final day review

The area around the cove has been covered in a light mist to conceal the actions within from lookouts, the pass is being cleared, slowly by ghouls under the control of Ebon Knights.

The secret pass has been covered with an Arcane Illusion leaving the cove relatively secure for the time being.

A Hostage was taken and her interrogation report has yet to be submitted.
(Depending on the information, will determine how we advance regarding this campaign in the future)

None Specific Horde forces will be "Holding" the area for the time being while the current forces withdraw to re-supply.

(OOC on hold and they are place holders until we can pick this back up)

Nice screens. Seems like we got a lot incoming from the Horde forces overall. Just to make sure, Alliance is not going to throw the towel on the arena. I and maybe some got a bit surprised how fast Horde took the campaign and advanced into making Alliance to go on defense.

We will try to attend rp-pvp battles the Horde wants to have for their advancing. But as you know Alliance needs to do the same. Battle lost or won doesn't mean the losing side has lost their capability to do another one. So there will be more.

I suggest around 2 bigger rp-pvp battles per week, smaller ones can add to it ofc.

It's seen to cause somewhat drama and being displeasing for some to lose a fight and not get to fight when one wants due to uneven numbers. So these battles may cause within guilds minor troubles, so there is a need to not do these too much, to not make it lose the point of being fun and good gaming experience. I don't care much if it's a loss or won, but I'm not like everyone. Trying my best, and sometimes that is not enough.

I also like to ask the Horde to keep it so that Alliance won't finally lose their possibilities to stay in Stromgarde. It's like we need to keep it like within the real game world, our forces couldn't take down Hammerfall, or maybe even Galen's Fall. These bases are like out of the possibility to be overtaken by Alliance, so Horde eventually can't overtake Stromgarde, since there are Alliance npc:s and population and it would break the lore situation in game. Our forces are not enough, and neither are Horde's. What we can do is have rp-pvp in the game controlling other positions that are in neither faction's control in game. This is how I see it, I know other's may not think the same, but really ooc Ninth can stay in Stromgarde and ic as well, if they want, whatever Horde does.

So just wanted to tell my view on the situation. I think I'll go ahead until Legion at least on this, so I have liked this expedition so far.

The House would like to continue participating, and encouraging others to, with the Ninth's and allied Alliance guilds engaging in this ongoing RP-PvP Campaign.

I'm sure many Horde guilds are eager to join in who may not have this time around, hopefully we can maintain the level of OOC coordination we enjoyed this time, and improve upon it in the future for more elaborate and colourful scenarios.

I am not a big fan of "lore-blocking" a location from being affected. OOC though if the Alliance wants to keep Stromgarde specifically as their base, I am fine with that and we can roleplay accordingly.

Below, a theory/opinion:

Locations with NPC's on them could always be razed, it walls damaged, it citizen sent scurrying away. Those who ran to the hills will always return however, even if to a burned up town and start rebuilding. It may be a to weak of a location after such to voice much of a complain by it own, even if not completely destroyed.

This is my opinion about "razing towns and claiming territory". Due to NPC presence, another faction can not occupy a town. IC, this can be explained by not enduring the scent, or that due to the place being wrecked during the attack, it walls give little to no protection.

With this logic, I would personally be perfectly alright with the Alliance attacking and razing Hammerfall, forcing it denizen all to hide into the Defiler's Den which entrance could easily be bottlenecked to keep the Alliance out. The town itself might not completely be destroyed, but the fact that it was "razed" once before does lower it "safetyness" until you get as far as to roleplay rebuilding the walls and fortifying the place, giving an In Character decision to make:

"Do we want to stay and repair this place, to have a base in here"
or
"This place is not safe to stay for long. It provide no protection. We must find a place to set camp elsewhere".

Or you do both, leave some forces behind in effort to rebuild it (slowly) while moving elsewhere yourself.

---Opinions about this kind of treating of "NPC occupied areas"?

In terms of the Campaign itself, Red Reach Raiders will keep their ship to the Faldir's Cove as for now, since it seems to serve as the Horde's 2nd most important base, next to Gallen's Fall. Once the battles and the campaign continues again, we will relook to our situation IC.

Since we aim on being RP-PvP Guild, we will likely keep ourselves involved, raiding the Alliance outposts and potential supply caravans as time allows. I do not expect us to stay in the zone forever though. We need a breath of fresh sea-air even now and then, and the Alliance down south must not be left in their false sense of security for to long.

Interrogation of Human Alliance prisoner, Arathi Highlands, 22/05

Ambassador, Lord Magister Dolerien Sunwing presiding.

Prisoner is Human, female, young (16). Hair shoulder-length, black. Eyes purple, without pupil, blind.

After negotiating with one of the Raiders that the prisoner would probably be more compliant without a knife to her throat, the raider in question left.

Questioning Begins.

The prisoner enquired why two Forsaken were present. I responded that they were there to ensure the truth was revealed should the prisoner fail to answer questions.

I first requested the positions of Alliance forces in Stromgarde, followed with the assurance that the prisoner would remain unharmed provided the information is accurate, and the Horde forces emerge victorious at routing the Alliance filth from our lands. The prisoner responded that the highlands were Alliance territory. A short education in the fall or relocation of every Human kingdom in the north, that Stormwind was the Humans dominion now, was grudgingly accepted.

Prisoner revealed that the Alliance forces in Stromgarde were occupying one small building in the lower city, that the Syndicate ruled the upper sections and the keep, a small force of Arathi rules the chapel district, and a tribe of ogres holds dominion in the southern magic quarter. Prisoner claims the Horde arrived ‘too soon’, before the Alliance forces could capture the entire city.

Prisoner also revealed she is sixteen, and that her adoptive father (Warvick Blackstone) and grandfather (Aramal Blackstone) were part of the Alliance forces occupying the city. I agreed that a message would be passed to the girl’s family. Especially, as she then revealed that her grandfather was leading the Alliance incursion. Having consulted with colleagues in Silvermoon, and my spies within Stormwind, I name the girl one Jenny Bloodblade.

Prisoner transferred to brig aboard the Horde ship, incarcerated pending the outcome of the battle for the Highlands.

Additional note:

In light of the prisoners age, willingness to impart information and political value, I demand that she be granted safe passage back to the Kingdom of Stormwind after we have routed the Alliance forces. She will NOT, as previously suggested, be taken to Undercity.

Meeting with Alliance representative Warvick Blackstone, Gates of Stromgarde, 23/05

Ambassador, Lord Magister Dolerien Sunwing in attendance.

Naturally, in the interests of my own safety, and to negate the chance of the Alliance gaining a political prisoner as well, I chose to appear at Stromgarde as an arcane image. Quite simple across so short a distance.

After confirming with Mr. Blackstone that the Horde did indeed hold his adoptive daughter captive, I hastened to add that she remained unharmed in our custody. I proceeded to offer the prisoners life, in return for an immediate cessation of hostilities and a retreat across the Thandol Span, an offer Blackstone hurriedly pointed out that Aramal Blackstone, the girl’s grandfather and leader of the invaders, would never accept.

At this point it became evident that father and son care little for each other. Indeed, it seems that Aramal must reclaim Arathi, else forfeit all lands and titles and be banished from the realm. The same fate awaits all his officers. Naturally, Warvick, and I suspect many others, do not enjoy having their birthrights depend on the outcome of this incursion, especially in light of the Horde largely ending the invasion before it had truly begun.

Warvick’s counter proposal is thus: that the Ninth Company be given free passage further north into the eastern plaguelands, leaving Arathi, and Aramal, it seems, to the Horde. He also stated he would not join the Alliance in raising arms against us.

Curiously, I find myself wishing to grant his request. The Plaguelands are, by common consent, the domain of the Argent Crusade, who would likely watch them for signs of preparations for war, and while I would normally be loathe to see Humans, Worgen and Dwarves so close to the borders of Quel’thalas, I feel sure that Mr. Blackstone is being truthful in his intentions, for now. Besides which, I am equally sure that they realise that should they encroach on Thalassian soil, our retribution would be swift, and without mercy.

I understand that this cannot be decided on a whim, but there is discussion to be had regarding Mr. Blackstone’s proposal, and the fate of our prisoner Miss Bloodblade.

Sincerely,
Sunwing

(The thursday meet is mainly to decide what to do next, as for "When" we do it, thats still in the air, just wanted to make use of the interrogation RP while it was still relevant
as some characters are "Attached" to it ICly and would be trapped by it otherwise )

May 25th
Upon entering the Chapel a gruesome sight met their eyes. Lying on the floor was Aramal Blackstone in a pile of vommit. He was pale, cold and stiff. No pulse could be found.
Upon inspecting the chapel the only items that would normally not belong to the chapel were a bottle of Dalaran Noir (empty) on the table and a chalice on the floor, the chalice was most likely used to drink the wine with. upon closer inspecting another fould liquid was seen mixed with the vommit.

What this means is that Ninth is in greater trouble now than ever. But like last times, Ninth will prevail one way or the other, I hope.

After a meeting of Horde Order's and reviewing information it has been decided;

Red Reach Raiders will transport the Hostage to Tyr's Hand, dropping her off in preparation for the arrival of Alliance forces.

House Yore and Ashal Anore will meet with the Alliance forces within Stromgarde and escort them north under guard to Tyr's Hand, where they will be reunited with their comrade, thus bringing an end to the Arathi "Issue"
