IC Wargames are fun, yes, but in the future i for sure set a mental note to do them before majority of people are already on the way to sleep.

As an Alliance player i want to say, nerf Bladestorm

Just want to throw out massive thank yous to Halu, Rarg, and Inran for putting all of this together and helping to organise everything, and giving our characters a mantle to help develop and grow for the community.

I've really enjoyed it. <3

AV was great! We should do war games more often. Maybe hordies could train against each other sometimes? Marauders vs. Red Blades? Would be epic! Very Happy

My thanks to everyone who involved in this campaign. I had great time! Hurray to Hal, Rarg and all!  cat

That was a damn fine event! Especially the Battle in Alterac Valley. I would love to see more of it in the future!

Thx to the people who organized it!

Basically missed it all since I had to log off for dinner and sleep, sadly (rather late dinner, but nonetheless perfect aim at event time...).

I don't know. I do agree that most random battle grounds there are chaotic, silly and just horridly organised. But, with some smart tactics, effective team-work and Roleplay thrown in? I think its a recipe for success.

But I -do- get what you mean, hence why i'm thinking on it.

I've often thought about using IoC as a week or two long training exercise for military RP.
Similar to a regular campaign but all within the confines of an on-going wargame.

Isle of Conquest as a BG is extremely annoying, but on a RP standpoint it's big, varied, without NPCs and has a lot of empty buildings/interesting places. The map's a bit dispersive but if you divide the entire battle into smaller ones (think of them as stages/chapters) it could be cool.

This is a reply much overdue, but I’d like to thank to coordinators and the guilds taking part in this event. It was great fun!

These battles and defeats will have affected the northern clans greatly, the Sonehearth’s especially given the current state of the Alterac Mountains. I am in the midst of making something out of this ICly, and should HoD or any other guild have any reason to merge plots, or clash with the clans currently stationed in the north there are many ways of making that happen.

As I understand it most of Alterac was taken in favor of the horde, these areas being the mountains and the ruins. I’m not sure we realistically could say the valley was claimed for the horde, or if this has been done already. Then we’d have to make up a background story to whole NPC armies relocating(Stormpike and the Alterac Expedition). I am not sure a wide majority would sign up on that. Anyhow, I’d very much look forward to smaller skimrishes in Alterac, and future Alterac Valley wargames.

Consider the lands in Alterac Valley an forever ongoing battle, previously it was pushed in the favour of the alliance, now it is in favour of the Horde, however -At no point will either of them be pushed out entirely. The Stormpikes still have a strong presence there, but they're deffinately on the defensive now!

That's what I had in mind, and as a result the valley would be in a -very- bad position. ICly alliance side I've made out the valley to be an objective very hard to overtake, and the road there perilous due to the many small passages and mountain gorges. This could bring some IC reasons to the valley never being taken entirely.

Thanks for replying.

Also! This might be the wrong place, but should any orcs descending from the Frostwolf clan want to be acknowledged to have killed Kilgans brother Loden let me know. This would have taken place some twenty years ago.
