Could always have Rarg be the first general and have Hal as an end-boss in a later battle Wink

I'm rather confident that the Alliance would not be able to simply rush in an kill Rarg. Put him in full PvE gear with two good DPS and three healers and it'll take way more then that to take him down. Let him stand in a hunter's flare all the time while he watches over the battle. Let his healers be ready, let (Krogon?) be ready to charge in and stun anyone who gets close.

Meanwhile, put hunters and mages on tactical positions, snare, root, freeze and stun all the Alliance trying to break through. Some might actually manage to get past all the defense, but that means that the Alliance would have been split up and we all know what happens when you do that. If five members of the Alliance manages to get to Rarg in the first fight then they'll be outnumbered and quickly killed.
No, the Alliance needs to gain advantage in the main fight before they can focus on Rarg. And while the Horde has the advantage of a good fortress to defend from they still have to put some of their best players on defending Rarg.

Let's give it a try, I see a lot of fun to be had and in a worst case scenerio it'll just be like another bigger RPPvP battle.

And remember, if we like this we can do it the other way around but in Stromgarde later!

easier said than done, he's a pain in the ass to keep up with xD speaking of, dam you and that trinket last night, made me run half way across arathi x_x''

Its an idea worth some thought and has a lot of merits. but still needs to be refined I think, namely the rules and how it works so that it doesnt simply turn into "rush the general for the win". Still, a good idea.

Other than that, gief update on main post about last nights fights!  *shakes fist*

Today the Horde ventured to the Circle of Inner Binding, their shaman once there communed with the spirits of Arathi's Earth and managed to proove themselves to the spirits.

The Elementals have offered their aid to the Horde, and as such have strengthend the connection of the Horde's Shaman to spells of the element:- Earth.

Around the Circle of Inner Binding in Arathi, at least for now the elements of Earth are friendly towards the Horde - bar the Forsaken who the elements see as un-natural.

They would react in hostillity to any Alliance approaching the Circle.

Sounds like a fun event!

Also, I have this Death Knight that unfortunately is mostly PvE geared now, and can't take part of the regular battles due to that... Any alliance that feel like they want to make up some form of fight against a 564 geared blood death knight, I'm sure we could have fun! Arrak usually roams alone. Best is to send me an ingame mail on Arrak or Oguur!

Although the Dawnchaser's are new and not particularly aiming to be military, we've tried to get involved a little: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Battle report: Skirmishes.
The Horde and the Alliance fougth over the Western, inner, outer and Eastern Circles of Binding as well as control of the roads leading to Stromgarde.
The Alliance prevented the Horde from securing control of the Outer and Eastern Circles of Binding, while the Horde managed to gain control of the Western and Inner circle - Along with the roads.

Battle report: The Hammers Fall
The Alliance managed to push into Hammerfall and the infirmery and warehouse on fire before retreating safely again.
By the time they had been pushed out, Horde casulties were high.
The front-gate smells vaguely of piss (Thanks, Bismack).

IC: Alliance have begun construction of fortifications and barricades on the Thaldon Span. The work is still heavily work-in-progress, and far from finished.

Apologies to all who had expected to see more of me the last 2 days - I've been struggling with my graphics card causing constant BSOD's and I'm looking to replace it soon.

Damnation called...

But I was on the phone, so I missed him.

I tried to *69 Damnation, but his machine picked up.

I yelled: "Pick up the phone, Damation!"

But he ignored me.

Damnation must have been screening his calls.

Anyhow! anyone able to tell me how last nights fight at hammerfall went? how'd the rule set for it work out, was there any good points to it, bad points, things to do differently if ever tried again?

I asked, because I'm interested in how the battle rule set works and if its worth using again in future! much obliged!

I'll admit, but as an alliance and horde player, it was vastly against the horde as everyone bumrushed Rargnasha to finish it off. And 40 people against one person? Even with healers, it didn't work out for him. So it was a loss to the horde majorly. I think it was a confidence boost for alliance seeing as we haven't had many victories, but the rules worked a lot against the horde which is one of the main reasons why horde got their asses handed to them.
