Written on the posters:
The Circle of Ysera

If you are a worgen or a night elf, seek to restore the lands, uphold the balance of nature and fight the horde,
then we can offer you a place among us as a brother or sister. United under the worship of Ysera, Elune, The Holy Light, the old ways and more we will fight to restore our lands and reclaim what as have been lost.

If this falls to your liking and you are not a Death Knight, warlock or a shadow magic practitioner and seek a sense of belonging and a path in life, seek us out.

Pre history of the guild:
Pre history of the guild:

The birds had fallen to silence, the moon was shining in through the window and the solitude filled him once more. The image of the worgen haunted him, as had been a reoccurrence the past year and the time had come to change it.

“There must be a reason for this and yet the guilt is not mine to carry one my own. But this must change.. The old times are gone, the traditions remains but we must adjust to the world around us. We are no longer immortal, my brothers and sisters could do well in remembering that, what once was a proud and noble race are now reduced to power hungry, arrogant mongrels, that are no better than all those they look down upon. It is time to make a mends and change. “

With those words he sat down by the table writing letter after letter and days after people knocked on the door.

A few of his brothers and sisters came, together they former what now is called The Circle of Ysera. An order devoted to aid the worgen among us, those who suffer lack of control and those who have it. United under the worship of Ysera, Elune, dragons, The Holy Light, The old ways and more as equals. Their goal is to fight the horde, restore the lands fare and wide and reclaim what as have been lost, as brothers and sisters.

What are we?:
What are we?

Because of the elves being responsible for the worgens existence, the elves of The Circle of Ysera have taken it upon them to make a home for the worgen within the circle. Aid them to gain control over the curse and their powers and fight side by side with them.

United under the same philosophy worgen and elves fight side by side as brothers and sisters, equals, seeking to restore our lands, protect them, fight the horde and reclaim what as have been lost. The Circle of Ysera will focus on aiding the worgen who lack control, build a sense of a home among the order, travel fire and wide to  restore the lands, seek out old relics, temples, treasures lost with time.

The Circle of Ysera is a Roleplaying guild.
We will part take in world pvp events, we will seek to aid other guilds when we can icly. We will have DM’ed events, regular roleplaying events as well as raids on horde camps and villages as we move throughout the world, following our goals and paths.

The guild does not accept:
Death Knights, Icly played warlocks and shadow priests.
Non worgen or elves.

What we hope to achieve:
So what do we hope to achieve?

Our goals are clear. We seek to restore the world, fight the horde and reclaim what as have been lost. But as a start we seek to strengthen our numbers, aid the community and create more immersion for those around us as we travel through the world.  All of this while we do our outmost best to safeguard the nature, mend it, uphold the balance of nature. The guild united under many religious ways of worship will still follow the same philosophy.

Religious and philosophic aspects:
Do we have any religious or philosophic aspect to provide icly?

Our elves are followers of Elune, we also (of course) worship Ysera. Other forms of elven worship is also permitted among the order.

Our worgen worships the light or the old ways.

Ranks and Guild structure:
How are the ranks played out within our guild and its structure icly and what are they?

Guild leader: High Elder

2’nd in command: leader of the branches and ic officers: Elders

Veterans: Honored members of the guild who have proven their loyality and aids with events and training of our members.

Members: Are titled with their names no ic rank

Recruits: Will be titled with recruit.

When joining the guild oocly before your ic initiation you will be titled with: to be initiated.
When you are initiated you will become a recruit.. As a recruit your are on trial for 3 weeks before gaining the title member.

Structure of the guild:

Guild leader.

All branches should have one appointed leader, responsible for training and structure work with said branch. This includes combat training, possible philosophical guidance etc.
This would not mean that the branch leaders needs to be the one recruiting fitting possible member into the guild.

Branch 1:
Priests

Branch 2:
Druids - Monks

Branch 3:
Mages

Branch 4:
Hunters, rogues, warriors.

What can we provide for you and other guilds?:
What can we provide for you and other guilds?

What we provide is a dedicated group of rp'ers, some new to roleplay, some not. And we welcome new roleplayers among us and will aid them along the way. We are always in for rping events, when another guild has need of
our druids, priests, need aid with taints on our lands, protecting our lands or fight down our enemies, we will be glad to lend a hand.

We post our events on our forum for others to see, we would love to in time aid other guilds in their travels over the world, to restore and protect our lands. Events will be posted, noted on the wow ingame calendar or the forum as we progress in our growth. Larger events we may also post on this forum, possibly the defias rp forum and possibly the realmforum.

OOC Guild rules:
OOC guild rules:

To join the guild you need to be at least level 15.
Every new member are on a trial for their first 3 weeks.
All members are expected too:
1. Sign up on our forum and read all the rules.

2. Have these addons:

Total rp 2
Gryphon heart items.
People in the guild can have alts in the guild as ooc members but.. For the sake of the guild, if it is not a worgen or an elf, its a no go. Simply to avoid the questions it would bring. Such as: "I see you have this and that in the guild so why not..." etc.

For non officers the amount of alts people can have in the guild in addition to their main character is 3. 4 Chars total per member.

Why? These will be actively used icly.

You need to follow the policy of blizzard:
- no ooc talk in say
- no disruption of peoples roleplay by:
corpsecamping - ruining their roleplay with ooc behaviour/talk, no ERP in /say/emotes:
if you for some reason do erp use /whisper /party /go to an instance /stay out of sight.

No metagaming.
No God Emoting.

Members who turn out to be roleplaying a dragon, the son of Illidan etc.. will get kicked.

Members who have not given any message and have been offline for 1 month gets a guild kick. Should they return they can get invited back into the guild.

A 3 strike policy will be made to deal with bad behaviour icly or oocly. In bad case scenarioes a member still risks getting an instant g-kick and not a strike.

IC Guild rules so far:
IC guild rules:

Uphold the balance of nature:
Aid those in need.
Respect your brothers and sisters.
Obey your superiors.
Try your best to abide and follow the tree virtues:

Respect
The first Virtue teaches us Respect. It begins with recognizing this connection and subsequently respecting it. Respect is the basis for harmony between all beings that one is connected with. A teacher can not teach his students if he lacks respect. A mother will not raise her child proper without respect. A farmer will not reap the fruits of a land he does not treat with respect.

The challenge in this Virtue lies that even foes can be connected to us, and as such we must respect them. By disrespecting our enemy, we can not hope to ammend the disharmony. Only by respecting all forms of life can we strive for a better world.

Tenacity
The second Virtue teaches us Tenacity. It deepens the acknowledgement of the world we live in. It begins by telling us that this world is not enlightened yet. Disharmony and injustice stand in Light's way. It will require work and time, and perhaps more work than one can deliver, perhaps more time than one can live. The Virtue teaches us to stay true to the Light's course, even if we may not see now or never will see the benefit of our labour.

This applies to both the world as well as to the individual. Should anything cloud our sight and we fail to see the Light past it, be it a dark world's disharmony or our own anger in a conflict, we must not stray from the Light's path. For if we abandon Light's path, we can not achieve its purpose.

Compassion

The final Virtue teaches us Compassion. Compassion is an action, meant to directly improve the world or counter disharmony. As a direct action, it is effective and also dangerous. One must aid a lost soul in need but one must avoid to create a dependency, which would cause more harm than good. As such, Compassion is taught with caution... its purpose is to help people and not to deprive them from the valuable lessons that make them grow.

Our initiation oaths:

The Oath of the Circle of Ysera for elves

By the light of Elune,
By Ysera's grace,
I shall vow to safeguard nature and keep it's balance.
I shall vow that I will protect everything that has been given to
us from nature,
with my life if need be.
May Elune's light guide me
and Ysera safeguard me from harm.

The Oath of The Circle of Ysera for those who believe in the Light

By the holy light,
by the grace of the three virtues
I shall vow to safeguard nature and keep it's balance
as I pledge my life to The Circle of Ysera and its protector.
I shall vow that I will protect everything that has been given to us from nature,
with my life if needed be.
May the holy light guide me
and safeguard me from harm.

The Oath of the Circle of Ysera for those who believe in the old ways

By the old ways,
by the might of nature.
I shall vow to safeguard nature and keep it's balance.
I pledge my life to The Circle of Ysera and it's protector
and I shall vow that I will protect everything that has been given to us from nature,
with my life if needed be.
May the powers of old guide me
and safeguard me from harm.

The Three Hammers are interested. Our Ironforge Cultural Exchange Program [ICEP] has an aim of exchanging customs and culture (duh) with other organizations, this would definitely be one of them.

Best of luck and hope to see you soon!

Looks awesome, best of luck to you! It's a great concept and I do hope it succeeds!

Out of interest, if one wanted to seek your lot out for roleplay, have you got an official 'base' yet?

Sounds like a nice guild concept. Too bad I don't have any more alt space.

Maybe we can work together some time!
