I agree with Anaei. Frankly, I'm sick of the drama. We tried to solve it all by the treaty, but it was ignored. We can't seem to get a moments peace to just roleplay, and our guild is suffering and our members upset that we are not left alone to roleplay what we like. But instead people insist on forcing us on roads we don't want to take. And even when we do, we don't get a moments peace.

I hope this will give us some at least, but at this point I wouldn't be surprised if more drama came up. Not one bit.

I have already altered the treaty to remove the causes of drama, any opposition such as using Varian's Signature (which would have been given when the council approved it as with any law) and the diplomatic immunity has been removed.

No need to start arguements that need'ent be, eh?

I think someone is trying too, so he could say "oh my, more drama on us!", though, hopefully that person won't do it. Well written Anaei, liked it! Very Happy

Thank you Ras. And if anyone wishes drama they won't find reason from me.

Bits of paper will not sway peoples personal views I'm afraid. There will always be drama, if only in little doses.

If you wrong another person, even if you dont feel like you did, then you need to go out of your way to reinstate their trust in you. When the Orcs assaulted khaz modan I remember Anaei being at the meeting where she was swiftly ejected. This comes across that Arathor was a weak nation that could be pushed around easily. If you had sent some guys to aid regardless and they performed well, then we'd all be on the road to friendship as we speak.

So to sum up. Great deeds are more efficient than treaties, especially when it comes to Dwarves. *nods*

That was very well written, Anaei. I am most certainly impressed! My only concern is how Danath will react if he were to return and see some person calling herself the "Queen". Tsk tsk! :p

I for one wish Stromgarde is rebuilt and not left as it is. I've done enough quests killing all those annoying mobs in that annoying castle to make sure of it! >Neutral

He'll go, "Cheers for holding my Throne."

As that's the basis of the monarchy, that it went to Saihna as Danath technically abdicated by staying in Outland. However on his return he'll be reinstated.

And Jomir, Anaei did not 'eject'. The dwarves came and asked her to help attack the orcs with one guard and herself, a newly ascended Queen open to attack and then called it a pact when she said they had a ceasefire.

The road of friendship was never open, however I foresee it opening shortly.

Horde has done enough to kill off the remaining Trollbanes. Prince included.

I won't be surprised if Danath turns into Varian's horde-slaying pal. Trolls be killin' his sons, mon!

Fixed that for you. Danath is the 'unlikely' heir that was never meant to actually get the throne. Hell his name isn't even Trollbane, it's Dungalion.

If the king or queen isn't present, shouldn't rule of Stromgarde have gone to a steward then: a sort of "caretaker" of the throne and not to the next in line for the throne?

It doesn't matter at any rate! I'm looking forward to see what will happen to Arathor in Cataclysm though, be it good or bad :).

You mean a regent Shaelyssa. Well no, as Galen died in classic, we didn't know about Danath's alive-ness until BC.

Absolutely no clue what is going on with all this. But as far as I can tell, everyone playing royalty has quit the game. On top of that, Seiken has dropped the name and KoS has been put on ice.

The Throne is empty yes, The Kingdom concept is on ice but for the remaining active Arathorians (as few as we are) this is still in motion . It was never revoked.

Not to worry, we,ll always remain Stormwind's bitches. Wouldn't have it any other way with how weak Arathor is being represented in game lol.

A treaty similar to this for Gilneas would be fantastic. Though I do wonder how this would be done...

Lorainne this is how it was done the first time;
First of all you need a super nation threatening your established IC nation.
Secondly you need Stormwind to agree to a hole list of terms that do not benifit them at all.

Except that they are granted the great service of being able to keep their northern forces inside ruined Stromgarde, instead of wasting their time with just keeping them in (at the time non-ruined) Southshore.
Stormwind being allowed to council the Arathorians.
And of course,
"-The Citizens of Arathor will cease paying tax to the Crown of Arathor solely and will instead have the tax reduced diveded into two halves, one entering the treasurey of Stromwind, the other going to the Crown of Arathor."
All that money from all those so famously wealthy Arathorians must have made the hole ordeal worth it to Stormwind, risking their relationship with mother Ironforge, that was at the moment in a heavy dispute with Arathor due to political madness.

So if you do get that treaty with Stormwind Lorainne, I congratulate you.

Very nice seeing this servers lore being taken care of and not just ignored.
